The consultation allows our Ayurvedic doctor to understand your body type (dosha), current imbalances, specific concerns, and important health factors such as blood pressure, allergies, and overall medical condition. This ensures that all treatments are carried out safely and appropriately.

Most of our treatments begin with a complimentary consultation, where the doctor guides the therapist on the necessary customizations for your needs. However, if you have a specific condition you would like to address in depth, a paid consultation with the doctor may be recommended.

How often should I have a full body massage with steam (Abhyanga + steam)?

This depends on your body condition and lifestyle. For general wellness, once a month is usually sufficient. For specific concerns, our doctor may recommend a more frequent schedule as part of your treatment plan.

Why can’t I take just a steam bath?

In Ayurveda, steam therapy is usually recommended after oil-based treatments like Abhyanga. The oil helps loosen toxins, and the steam supports their release. Taking steam alone may not provide the same benefits and can sometimes be too intense or drying for the body.

Why are treatments not recommended during menstruation?

During this time, the body is naturally in a process of cleansing and rest. Ayurvedic treatments, especially full body massages and heat therapies, may interfere with this natural flow. It is best to allow the body to rest and resume treatments afterward.

However, certain gentle treatments can still be carried out if needed, such as therapies for knee pain, neck and shoulder discomfort, as well as foot massages and facials. These are usually considered safe as they do not disturb the body’s natural process.
